The Ewent EW3730 HDMI 4K 3x1 switch lets you connect three HDMI sources (such as a laptop, game console, or media player) to a single TV or monitor and switch between them easily using the included remote control or automatic input detection.
About this product
The Ewent EW3730 HDMI 4K 3x1 switch is the ideal solution for connecting multiple HDMI devices to a single display. With three female HDMI inputs and one female HDMI output, it allows you to alternate between a laptop, a game console, or a TV transmitter without swapping cables. Switching is done conveniently with the included remote control, or automatically thanks to input detection, which selects the first available source. Status LEDs indicate which ports are occupied. It supports resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz (4K) and 1080p at 60 Hz, with EDID and HDCP compatibility. It is powered via USB using the included cable, and it is recommended to use high-speed HDMI cables up to 5 meters. Includes remote control with battery, IR-RX cable, and USB power cable.
What can you use it for?
- Connect a laptop, a game console, and a TV transmitter to a single TV and switch between them without unplugging cables.
- Use the remote control to select the desired HDMI source from the couch.
- Take advantage of automatic input detection to have the switch change to the first available source when a device is turned on.
Its strengths
- Allows connecting up to 3 HDMI sources to a single display, avoiding manual cable swapping.
- Includes a remote control for convenient source switching.
- Supports 4K resolution (3840x2160) at 30 Hz, ideal for high-definition content.
Things to consider before buying
- Maximum resolution at 60 Hz is 1080p, not 4K, so it is not suitable for 4K at 60 fps gaming or video.
- Requires USB power, so you need an available USB port or a USB power adapter.
